Here Are Some Persona 5 Easter Eggs You Might Have Missed

Persona 5 presents itself with a flashy style that may sometimes overpower the various easter eggs hidden in the game. Here are some references fans might have missed during their time as a Phantom Thief.

Each installment in the Persona franchise has its own plot, meaning players can start with any game at the franchise. However, the universe all seems to be connected through characters and events that make their way to the games as references. One example is the death confidant, Tae Takemi, who mentions a "Uehara-san" who works in another hospital. Gameranx shares that this particular woman was actually a character from the fourth game who had her own social link.

This easter egg is much easier to spot if players like to hang around the Shibuya station. There are various posters scattered around the area that features both Risette and Kanamin, who were also prominent figures from the previous game. Risette, better known as Rise, is a Persona user herself who joined the Investigation Team to help solve the mysterious murder cases in Inaba. On the other hand, Kanamin is better known as Rise's rival who plays a bigger role in the dancing spinoff game.

Finally, Twinfinite shares that if the player watches the movie "The Cake Night Rises," some may recognize that the background music is actually the puzzle preparation tune from Catherine. For those unaware, the said game is also under Atlus and Persona 5 will even be getting future costumes based off their characters. Similarly, the Bubbly Hills DVD also contains the daily music track from the third installment in the franchise.

Persona 5's easter eggs are the perfect homage to the other games Atlus has worked on. Aside from these various references, fans can even buy costume DLC from games like Shin Megami Tensei and other Persona games. Those who want to play the game can get a copy for the PS3 and PS4.
