Next Battlefield 1 DLC In The Name Of The Tsar Revealed

Battlefield 1 is finally getting a concrete knowledge at the Russian DLC called In The Name of the Tsar. This is among the contents EA promised to develop and release for the hit shooter game. Here's what the new downloadable content is all about.

According to VG247, the aforementioned Battlefield 1 DLC will be unveiled at EA Play come June. Obviously, this content will introduce the might of the Russian army. However, the forthcoming downloadable content is not just about this army.

In the Name of the Tsar DLC will also be introducing a set of maps, all of which are set in the Eastern front. Here, players will be introduced to snow-covered terrains and freezing geography. Nevertheless, regardless of the coldness, the war involved is going to be full of heat.

In the upcoming DLC, Battlefield 1 players will finally be experiencing what it's like to set their foot in other territories. They will also partake in the skirmishes of the Albion assault and fight themselves within the treacherous Lupkow Pass. It is really interesting to see how the overall terrain will affect the game's meta, particularly on the players' approach.

COG Connected reports that the DLC is among EA's plans of introducing the "Summer of Battlefield." The latter basically refers to a monthly introduction of new stuff to Battlefield 1. This includes the likes of updates, features, and weapons, among others. Moreover, the above-mentioned DLC is just the first of the many.

EA Play 2017 is slated to commence just a few days prior to the start of E3 (Electronic Entertainment Expo). In the Name of the Tsar is the second DLC after They Shall Not Pass. There will be two more Battlefield 1 contents expected in the months to come. These are namely the Turning Tides and the Apocalypse. As of this writing, nothing specific about these contents have been revealed except for the official names.
