Pokemon GO, without a doubt, is still one of the most popular mobile games of recent memory. Hence it's no wonder if people continue to exploit and cheat their way to the game. And speaking of which, among them are the so-called Snipers. Fortunately, Niantic has found a way to tackle them down.

Sniping in Pokemon GO works similar to GPS Spoofing. The latter, in particular, has been one of the biggest issues in the game; the former, on the other hand, is trying to acquire such title. As reported by GameRant, the amount of snipers in the game are massive that it's only right for the studio to do something drastic.

Basically, players who are still fond of doing the aforementioned are likely to get banned from playing Pokemon GO. With the way the exploit works, the studio doing a workaround that works similarly to the method they used in fighting GPS spoofing. It's worth noting that sniping, in its most organic form, abuses the use of GPS in order to spot rare Pokemon.

Nonetheless, one can't deny the fact that there's still a number of Pokemon GO players resorting to either spoofing or sniping. While it's true that Niantic has come up with a fix, the solution didn't necessarily wipe out the problem. But of course, it's nice to know that at least the developers are doing something noticeable.

In related news, the highly celebrated Pokemon GO event called Worldwide Bloom is about to end. Actually, it reaches the corner end today, with no promise yet of another event from Niantic. The event increases the spawn rates of grass type pocket monsters, as noted by Forbes. This makes catching the likes of Chikorita and Bulbasaur, among others, a lot easier.

As of this writing, the studio has yet to reveal what then next event will be. However, there are rumors that the company will launch a special event this summer. It's believed that this is the very time the highly anticipated Legendary creatures will be unveiled.
