A new love is rumored to come to the Duggar family as Jim Bob is reportedly playing cupid to her eldest daughter Jana and a family friend. The 29-year-old Duggar lady is finally dating according to many talks and might be announcing the courtship as "Counting On" returns. Meanwhile, Joy-Anna and Austin Forsyth recently threw a joint bachelor and bachelorette party through a day camp with their families and friends.
Jana Duggar might have already found her "prince charming" as she is reportedly seeing their family friend, Jonathan Hartono. Talks have it that the two met during a mission trip to Asia in 2010 where they both volunteered in. However, the speculations started to spread when her father Jim Bob was seen on a one-on-one bowling date with Hartono.
People were then quick to conclude that the Duggar patriarch was concerned about Jana being single for a long time already hence, taking the initiative to pair her up with his choice of son-in-law-to-be. Avid fans know very well that most of the family friends introduced by the Duggars ended up to be in a courtship with one of Jim Bob and Michelle's kids. Austin Forsyth is a good example of such as he has been a friend to Joy-Anna for 15 years before they started to date. Kendra Caldwell is another family friend who ended up entering a courtship with Joseph Duggar.
Jonathan Hartono was reportedly contacted to take his statement about the rumors, but declined the invitation for an interview and preferred to stay silent. Jana Duggar and the rest of their family are likewise keeping mum, but have not denied any of the talks yet.
Meanwhile, a new "Counting On" Season 3 promo was recently released, and it delivered a juicy preview of things to expect from the installment. Somewhere in the clip, a glance at Joy-Anna and Austin Forsyth's passionate engagement was teased. The young couple got engaged on March 2 after only over three months of courtship. Talks have it that they are about to exchange their vows on Oct. 28 as revealed in their wedding registry with The Knot on Amazon.
Just recently, Joy-Anna and Austin held their joint bachelor and bachelorette parties. The camping-themed event was participated in by their families and closest friends which the couple revealed has been a "blast." Austin shares how he loves to stay close to nature as his family raised him to be an outdoor tripping lover and says he wants to pass on the passion with the family that he is about to build with Joy-Anna Duggar.
Joy-Anna, on the other hand, revealed that their prenuptial party was her first time to go camping, but she found it fun as she talked about her water rafting experience. The 19-year-old Duggar has also praised Austin for helping in preparing their wedding, saying that he has probably offered a hand more than he expected.
