"Poldark" Season 3 is only a few more weeks away, but its Episode 1 already got a private screening last week. Series' stars Aidan Turner and Eleanor Tomlinson attended with other co-stars and a snap of them together were shared on a fan site. Details of the event are strictly being confined, but a supposed leak shows a promo photo with Ross and Demelza Poldark leaning close to each other which gave some fans the confidence that the two can recover their fallen relationship.

Aidan Turner who plays Ross and Eleanor Tomlinson who plays Demelza were joined in by co-stars Beatie Edney, Jack Farthing as well as newcomers Ellis Chappell, Harry Richardson and Tom York last May 9 on a private screening event of "Poldark" Season 3. Showrunner Debbie Horsfield was also present to join her team. The event was the first time for "Poldark" to hold a private screening and only a selected few were invited to see Episode 1 in advance.

Although details about "Poldark" Season 3 are being well guarded, fans were at least treated to a sweet look of the show's lead stars as Aidan Turner and Eleanor Tomlinson were seen stepping out from the event together. A snap of the on-screen couple was shared on social media which immediately earned attention, and some started to spread rumors that they are secretly dating.

Meanwhile, previous spoilers already gave fans of the show some solid ideas on what to expect from the new season. As it can be recalled, "Poldark" Season 2 dropped a bombshell before it wrapped up last year. Fans found out last season that Elizabeth was pregnant and many assumed that it was Ross' child. However, the show's creator previously hinted on the possibility that Ross might not be the father of Elizabeth's baby after all which was also discussed by Eleanor Tomlinson in a recent interview.

The hit period drama is already set to kick off in June, but BBC One has not yet confirmed the exact date for its official release. PBS, on the other hand, has already picked Oct. 1 as "Poldark" Season 3 premiere.
