Only a few people were able to play the game due to it being available only on arcades and in select locations around the globe. Tekken 7 has undergone several updates and balance changes over the years and has been refined by the competitive scene. Consumers can expect to find a finely-tuned final product when it is finally released on consoles and PC on Friday.

Fighting game website Shoryuken has finally finished its review for Bandai Namco's 3D fighting masterpiece. It is understandable that many fighting game fans are still on the fence about getting the game. After all, it is common for some fighting games to encounter some problems during the first few days after its launch. However, it seems that Tekken 7 is not one of those games as it apparently delivers what is expected.

The site describes Tekken 7 as a "complex, beautiful, and rewarding" fighting game. Except for the new mechanics like Rage Arts, Rage Drive, and Slo-Mo finishers, the game is still the same Tekken fans have grown to love. Veteran players will apparently have no problems getting up to speed and learn their favorite fighters, while new players can try its comprehensive training mode to get a feel for its combat system.

Tekken 7's Online mode is reportedly great, unlike the messy experience players had with Street Fighter V on launch day. When playing against people with good connection quality, it appears that gamers do not have to worry about skipped frames and lag. The only thing missing according to the reviewer is a replay feature to check out matches from other players as well as your own.

According to Event Hubs, Tekken 7 also has some negative aspects that might dissuade newcomers. It seems that the 3D fighting game already assumes that all players would have experience playing the game from their previous installments. Moreover, it has dropped any kind of tutorial or introduction to its combat system.

It is also worth noting that Bandai Namco gave Tekken 7 players a lot of bang for their buck. The game features a roster of 37 unique fighters and an expansive move list for each. They have even included Akuma as a guest from Street Fighter V who apparently plays a unique role in the lore of Tekken. Overall, the newest installment in the long-running franchise is expected to appeal to veteran fans of the series, while newcomers might have a bit of a struggle to adapt.
