Dragon Ball FighterZ: Arc System Works Announces Full Roster Of Characters Plus Other Details

Dragon Ball FighterZ latest news indicates that Arc System Works has confirmed the roster of characters in its upcoming video game. There are also other details revealed by the game developer in its recent announcement. Who are the characters in the Dragon Ball universe that will be included?

There Will Be A Total Of Six Playable Characters

The announcement of the new video game developed by Arc System Works was one of the highlights of the Xbox One presentations at the ongoing E3 2017. There were rumors about this game in recent weeks about its title and its roster of characters. Now, Dragon Ball fans know that the official title of the game is Dragon Ball FighterZ.

The game developer also shared important information about its characters plus some other details. As expected, main characters like Goku, Vegeta and Gohan will be among the playable characters in Dragon Ball FighterZ. Fans will also be happy to know that Frieza (in his final form), Cell (with improved genetic traits and abilities), and Innocent Buu (the original form of Majin Buu) are also included as playable characters.

Gameplay's Timeline Will Be Broad

From the range of characters included in Dragon Ball FighterZ, it is apparent that the game's timeline will be broad. The latest news indicates that the gameplay will cover the whole gamut of Dragon Ball Z and perhaps some parts of Dragon Ball Super might be in there as well. That means gamers can expect they will be playing in different timelines of the Dragon Ball universe.

Dragon Ball FighterZ is a 2D, 3v3 fighting game but has 3D character models. Arc System Works is developing the game for Xbox One, PC and PlayStation 4. This game developer also developed Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden for the Nintendo 3DS a couple of years back. This upcoming video game is set to launch early next year.
