‘Call Of Duty: WWII – Nazi Zombies’ Promises To Be The Scariest Mode

"Call of Duty: WWII - Nazi Zombies" will feature a horror-focused gaming experience. Sledgehammer Games creative director Cameron Dayton, and development director John Horsley are incredibly excited to launch the upcoming game that promises to be the scariest and darkest mode of the franchise.

The "CoD" is known for its humorous and outrageous theme. The developer surprised its followers with a zombie theme for the latest mode of "Call of Duty: WWII," as revealed in the recent San Diego Comic-Con. However, it is also important to note that Sledgehammer is also popular for its expertise in developing games with terrifying and gory themes.

Speaking with Gamespot, Horsley brags that doing the upcoming "Call of Duty: WWII - Nazi Zombies" mode was "really, really awesome." He explained that the new mode is an excellent product of the combination of their team's expertise in horror and the franchise's personality.

Dayton also shared his excitement to be part of the upcoming game. He emphasized that the new game has a touch of their company's legacy.

The creative director confirmed that the new game features both the horror and gritty realism of the franchise. He detailed that the gaming experience becomes scarier when something pops up out in front of the player while out in the woods, in the dirty world of "CoD." He revealed that the storyline will highlight a more frightening experience, while trapped on a dark road.

Moreover, the directors mentioned that the game contains a nice mix of various gaming experiences. Horsley detailed that they designed the new Nazi Zombies mode for fun and entertainment.

There is a content layer that would allow the gamers to have fun while having goosebumps. Aside from entertainment, there would also be another layer that would greatly challenge the players. The director also teased that there are other secret layers underneath the challenges and entertainment.

Furthermore, Dayton revealed that the game includes uncovering some elements. He also mentioned that in the process of uncovering, the main challenge points to the way the player would overcome the horrors.

Considering all these content layers and challenges, Horsley said the upcoming "Call of Duty: WWII - Nazi Zombies" is among the "hardest, secret-laden zombie game" ever released.

Meanwhile, "Call of Duty" Valor Collection is coming out with a Nazi Zombies poster, a bronze statute, and sew-on patches. Michael Condrey, co-founder of Sledgehammer, revealed through his official Twitter account a photo of these items, teasing everyone to grab their copies too.
