Online Trading Academy (OTA), a leader in financial education, has been named as a finalist in the 2021 EdTech Awards "Cool Tool" Category.  In 2020, the company received the same honor in the "Trend Setter" category.

EdTech acknowledged Online Trading Academy for its platform, CliK. CliK is the company's proprietary education, analysis, and trading platform. OTA realized that many trading platforms in the industry simply provide traders with a tool to analyze and execute trades in the markets, without education.

CEO, Eyal Shahar, felt that average, everyday traders were simply not well equipped to participate in the markets.  After more than 20 years of building an education company, the company's leadership team realized that many students were confused and overwhelmed by trading platforms. They spent more time trying to understand the technology than focusing on their Core Strategy and what they learned in class. Therefore, the company created CliK to bridge the gap for newer traders in a simulated environment to develop their skills for trading and investing. "We believe that education is the great equalizer," said Shahar.  "CliK is revolutionary for people who are serious about building confidence for their trading and investing.

The company's President, Mike Richardson, added,  "We are in a new age of investing and trading.  Every day people want to be more active in shaping their financial future. Our job is to help them do that with an education founded on the critical risk management skills."

Online Trading Academy has received numerous awards in the technology space for CliK, such as a Bronze Stevie Award. "Technology shouldn't be a barrier to confident investing or trading.  It should be an enabler. We believe that's what CliK is... and does.  We designed it to help enable people to feel more confident about their decisions,"  said, Mark Grieco, Vice President of Product Management. "Tools like the Trade Builder guide our students through critical steps of identifying and scoring trading opportunities. Our technology and education teams are dedicated to changing the trading world.  CliK is just the first step," he added.
