We all know that every reasonably established organization has an HR and that it has a  pretty important role. But what exactly do the people at HR do? How important is it to have an HR?

At the basic level, HR(Human Resources) is a resource for humans for support and is responsible for all worker-related issues and management. Human resource management assists an organization in gaining a competitive advantage. Here's how HR plays a significant role in the smooth functioning of a firm.

1. Recruitment

The HR is responsible for determining the number of workers to be recruited. They go through with market analyses and budgets. It's important that they attract the right crowd for the job, for which they put up appropriate advertisements.

Apart from the records involving the work progress and efficiency of the workers, HR also maintains a meticulous record of histories associated with the workers individually and the history of the company itself. This includes personal records, accident books,  reports, first aid training, account and tax records, health and safety training, annual holidays, benefit logs, etc.
