AT&T Samsung Galaxy Alpha + Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 bundle now available – Here’s the deal

AT&T has an exciting new deal in place, offering an attractive bundle for those who want to purchase the Samsung Galaxy Alpha and Galaxy Tab 4 8.0.

As the holiday season draws closer, carriers and retailers are gearing up to offer increasingly attractive deals for their customers.

AT&T has offered a few promotional deals in the past, allowing customers who buy a flagship device to get a second device at a massive discount, and the carrier is now offering such a bundle with the much-touted Samsung Galaxy Alpha and the 8-inch Galaxy Tab 4.

More specifically, AT&T is allowing customers to purchase the metal-framed Samsung Galaxy Alpha for $0 down, and get the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 for just $1. While it sounds like an amazing deal, however, there's always a catch.

In order to take advantage of this attractive bundle, interested customers have to buy the Samsung Galaxy Alpha with an AT&T Next Plan, and sign a two-year service agreement for the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0.

In other words, the Galaxy Alpha may be available for $0 down, but you'd still pay the full price of $613 over the period of the Next plan you choose. At the same time, the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 may be available for just $1, but you'll be tied to AT&T's network for two years. Considering that the tablet costs $270, however, getting it on-contract would actually be advantageous from a financial point of view.

With that out of the way, if AT&T is your carrier of choice and you don't mind committing to a two-year contract and a Next plan at the same time, this Samsung Galaxy Alpha + Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 bundle can be a pretty great deal. Both devices come with good specs and features on board and both should offer more than decent performance.

AT&T's latest promotional offer will essentially get you a stylish-looking smartphone and a good tablet for $614, which is definitely attractive.
