Warhammer 40,000 Dawn of War III Gameplay

Gameplay for the Warhammer 40,000 Dawn of War III shares similarities from the first installment. Players will have to follow the control points in the map in order to acquire Requisition and Power resources. Buildings will have to upgrade and made sure they are safe from opposing forces.

Heroes in the upcoming DOW III will have more important roles in the game. Each hero will be given specific abilities and role in the game, according to Relic game designer Carolina Mastretta. Reviewers who played the demo admit that battles would need tactics and well thought deployment. Each unit is powerful in their own area of expertise. For example melee units are good for up close and personal attacks but will need the support of ranged artillery units to survive.
