Chinese Billionaire's Son Bought 8 iPhones For His Dog

What will you buy if you're a billionaire's son? a yacht? perhaps a car? or how about an iPhone for your dog?

Yes, you read it right. Wang Sicong, the son of Chinese real estate billionaire Wang Jianlin just bought iPhone 7 for his dog.

Wang Sicong purchased not only one, but eight iPhone 7s at that. Yes, you're not seeing a type - that is eight iPhone 7s to a dog that doesn't even know how to use a basic phone. This is not the first time that Wang Sicong made headlines with his absurd shopping habits.

Coco, an Alaskan malamute is a distinguished figure in weibo, a social media site. On her account, she was photographed with a new pair of Apple watches. The post created a media stir but still didn't stop Wang Sicon from buying unusual and pompous stuff for his dog.

By checking the picture alone, the dog appears to have variety of colors of the new iPhone. She has both black and the rose gold.

As per CNN, the caption of the post reads as "I don't understand all the show-off posts on (social media). What's the point? Don't make me do it?"

A 256-GB iPhone 7 in China costs around 7988 yuan or equivalent to US$1,019. Total cost of those eight iPhone 7s is $9,584. That is one too many for a dog that can't read, write, or use a phone.

Wang is part of China's second-generation richest. His sons and daughters are known for broadcasting lavish lifestyles.

It was last year when the news agency Xinhua criticized Wang about his lifestyle. Here's the commentary about Wang..."having stained the purity of the Chinese (people)" and warning others not to copy the "arrogant and coarse celebrity."

Wang was also accused as having a Berlusconi-style arrogance to which his father defended and blamed it on Western Schooling.
