Over 500,000 Samsung Galaxy Note 7 devices have already been replaced - Samsung revealed last Tuesday. Samsung also noted that a software update is already on its way.

Samsung Galaxy Note 7 have hit the stock market really bad. It also disappointed a lot of its users by posing a safety threat thru its leaking and igniting batteries.

Samsung has however come up with a crisis management plan that involved an Exchange Program, hopefully minimizing future damages.

Over the weekend, Best Buy has messaged some of its Note 7 customers. The intentions is to remind them about picking up their replacement device.

Some Note 7 customers are however still waiting.

In the past week, we remember Samsung's announcement to turn in Samsung Galaxy Note 7 devices "no later than Sept. 21.

Apparently however, the South Korean giant electronics company may need more time before the complete exchange pushes thru.

Samsung emphasized that if the Note 7 devices are not available in your local carriers or retailers, it should be available no later than Wednesday.

Feedbacks regarding the delay of the process have been given. Some of the customers are expecting that exchange of devices should have started across all retail outlets and carriers by Sept. 21 as promised by the electronics company.

Samsung updated The Verge that 25% of Samsung Galaxy Note 7 has already been successfully exchanged in the US. Samsung seems pleased with this figure stating that "an extraordinarily fast start toward achieving our goal of removing every single affected Note 7 from circulation."

On top of the Exchange Program, Samsung has been proactive in launching an outreach that promotes tweets, ads, and Samsung +app, emails to users, a dedicated website, an 800 hotline, and search engine marketing to customers in reminding them of the potential hazards of Samsung Galaxy Note 7- hence the immediate need for return.
