Pokémon Sun and Moon introduced a bunch of new and unique (Alolan) Pokémon. Today, we're going to unravel the Top 3 Most Overpowered Pokémon in the newest installment of the Pokémon franchise. We all know that "strength" can be situational but the top two Pokémon on this list are virtually exceptional. Take a look at the best of the best in the 7th gen of the Pokemon series.
#3 Tapu Koko
Tapu Koko is worthy to be called as one of the strongest Pokémon in Sun and Moon. It has great base stats but the real strength of the Pokémon comes from its high Speed and its Electric Surge ability which consequently creates Electric Terrain during battle. #2 Pheromosa
One of the Ultra beasts, Pheromosa is considered by many as one of the most overpowered Pokémon in the game. It has high Speed and high Attack damage and since it's an Ultra Beast ,it also has the Beast Boost passive ability which enables it to enhance its highest stat (Speed) every time it knockouts an opponent. #1 Zygarde Perfect (100%) Form
Now although Pheromosa is highly overpowered due to the fact that it can almost one-shot all of the Pokémon, it comes with a huge downside and that is its poor defense. Now what's sitting in the number 1 spot is the only Pokémon that basically has everything in the game, high damage and high survivability. Zygarde Perfect Form not only has insane amount of base stats but it also has overpowered abilities namely: Dragon Dance and Thousand Arrows. Aside from its self-buff and hard-hitting abilities, Zygarde also has one of the highest base HP in the game. It's important to note that the total base stats of Zygarde is the highest overall base and max stats in the game. Zygarde can virtually tank any abilities and survive long enough to counter any Pokémon in the game. Many players are now hoping that this Pokémon will be banned or at least nerfed in the future.
