Pokémon Sun and Moon Guide: How To Get Zygarde (100%) Perfect Form

We all love to collect Pokémon specially the Legendary ones right? And today, we're going to show you how to unlock Zygarde Perfect Form - a Pokémon that is so overpowered that many players are now considering banning it from competitive battles. Now, if getting the strongest Pokémon in Pokémon Sun and Moon gets you elated, then be warned, this quest will be the longest and most tedious one in all Generations yet.

Pokémon Sun and Moon Guide: Unlocking Zygarde Perfect Form

Now to unlock Zygarde Perfect Form, you need to collect 5 Zygarde Cores and 95 Zygarde Cells that are scattered across the entire Alola Region. Some of the cells can only be obtained on the opposite day-time which means you need to go to either Altar of the Moon or Altar of the Sun (depending on your title) to change your time-setting and get the specific cells. Lastly, you need to have the Zygarde Cube first, which you can get from the story mode, before you can start collecting the Zygarde Cells and Cores. UnitedGamer, a Youtuber that makes Pokémon Sun and Moon guides, stated that he started the quest after becoming the Alola Region Champion first to make the process a lot easier.

Pokémon Sun and Moon Guide: All Zygarde Cells Location

Now that you're ready, we will now be showing you all the areas where you will find all Zygarde Cells and Zygarde Cores. They will all be categorized by islands to make it clearer and a lot easier to collect:

Zygarde Cells:
Melemele Island (Total cells: 14)
Akala Island (Total Cells: 18)
Ula'ula Island (Total Cells: 30)
Poni Island (Total Cells: 28)
Aether Foundation (Total Cells: 5)

Zygarde Cores:
Melemele Island Route 1
Melemele Island Iki Town
Akala island Konikoni City
Ula'ula Island Route 17
Poni Island Ancient Poni Path

After getting all of Zygarde's Cells and Cores, go to Ula'ula Island on Route 16 and go to a building near the Pokemon Center (exact walkthrough shown in the video down below). Upon entering the building, you will then be approached by Sina and Dexio who will then explain everything about Zygarde. Afterwards, click on the nearby machine and select Assembly and then select "Using the Zygarde Cube only". This will then lead to the unlocking of Zygarde Complete Form. Take note that in order for Zygarde to reach its final state, Zygarde has to drop below 50% HP first during battle.

You may think that it's worrisome getting your Pokémon to drop below 50% HP before it reaches its maximum potential but in reality, Zygarde can survive virtually any attacks in the game. That's right, Zygarde Complete Form has the highest total base stat points in any Pokémon in the game! In order for you to learn how overpowered the Pokémon is, we've made a list of the Top 3 Most Overpowered Pokémon in Pokémon Sun and Moon.

We hope that you will get your own Zygarde soon! Don't forget that if you trade your Zygarde, you will no longer be eligible to take the quest all-over again.
