iPhone 8 Could Break Apple´s Previous Sales Record In 2017

Apple´s new flagship iPhone 8 could be so successful that it might break the company´s previous sales record set by the iPhone 6, which has been the most famous model so far. Of course, this would represent one of the biggest achievements of the tech giant, who wants to beat Samsung in order o become the biggest smartphone maker in the world.

Excelling iPhone 6 Success Will Be An Incredible Achievement For Apple

According to the International Business Times, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo of KGI Securities explained that the Cupertino company would easily break the iPhone 6 sales record because the three new flagships would sell up to 150 million units. Meanwhile, he also revealed that suppliers are bracing for the demand of the new smartphones, which could have the incredible wireless charging and a new design that could represent an incredible excel in iPhone´s aesthetic, which would mean another great achievement for Apple.

The most incredible detail that Kuo revealed was that when suppliers prepared for the launch of the iPhone 6, they geared up to make 110 million to 120 million and achieved the sales record, but this is a lot less of what is reported to be this time, since suppliers would make 120 million to 150 million just in the second half of 2017.

The Sales Record Could Also Have A Little Issue

According to CNBC, although the Cupertino company doesn´t always sell every single smartphone it plans to make, just to be sure. However, an iPhone sales boost could give a great relief to the tech giant´s investors, considering that this mobile device had sales drop from their year-ago volumes for three-straight quarters in 2016.

The highly-anticipated iPhone 8 is expected to be released with amazing features as a glass chassis and bright, flexible screen, which would make this device in one of Apple´s best products in its history. If this smartphone finally excel the iPhone 6 sales record, the company would have to struggle so the next iPhone meet expectations. But for now, let´s just wait.
