Poverty Linked To Cancer Mortality Rates Around The World
The WHO recently projected that in 2010, cancer would overtake ischemic heart disease as the leading cause of death in the world. Unfortunately, lives are being lost, particularly in poorer areas where cancer rates are much higher than more wealthy parts of the country.
