Amazon cut the price of both the Sprint and AT&T models of the HTC One too $49.99 with a two-year contract with either carrier.

This means that those eyeing the Android-powered HTC One for a while now have a good chance to grab the handset for a heavily discounted price.

The not-to-be-missed deal is available for both new and existing customers. The latter, however, will have to add a new line of service to their account if they want to take advantage of this $49.99 offer. Alternately, existing customers who wish to upgrade to the HTC One but do not want to add a new line will need to shell out $99.99.

The Amazon deal is valid for the 32GB version of the handset in both silver and black hues on both Sprint and AT&T.

The prices offered by Amazon for the Sprint & AT&T variants of the HTC One is cheaper than the prices offered by both AT&T and Sprint directly. By comparison, Sprint's variant costs $99.99 while AT&T charges $199.99, which means interested buyers can save $50 and $150, respectively, with Amazon's new offer.

This is the third price cut from Amazon in such a short span. In July, we reported that Amazon was offering the AT&T variant of the HTC One (32GB) for $209.99 on a two-year contract. Within a few days, Amazon had yet another price reduction and was retailing the AT&T HTC One for $79. Now with the $49.99 offer, the deal just got a bit sweeter for HTC fans.

Amazon, however, is not the only one who discounted the HTC One's price. In June, RadioShack had a special limited-period online promo for the AT&T and Sprint variants of the smartphone, whereby customers were able to get $100 Google Play store credit when they bought the device.

The HTC One is currently one of the most-wanted Android smartphones around. The smartphone notched up sales of 5 million units globally just within 30 days of release. If you want to purchase the HTC One from Amazon, check out the Sprint and AT&T deals from Amazon.
