Epic Games Store: 'Cities: Skylines,' 'Black Widow: Recharge,' and More Free Games Starting March 10

A bunch of new games is ready to drop on Epic Games Store starting Thursday, March 10. Fans are recommended to watch out for these titles so they can download them for free the moment they become available.

Sources from Comicbook note that typically every week, Epic Games gives away one game title for free. However, between March 3 to 10, the company teased four different game titles coming to its library.

Be warned that the giveaway is a time-limited event. So after March 10, all offers for the games will be expired.

'Black Widow: Recharged'

First on the list is the highly anticipated "Black Widow: Recharged." This is a classic twin-stick shooter game that features a spider shooting webs on an onslaught of bugs. This game can be played solo or tag team with a friend via coop.

Note that "Black Widow: Recharged" offers 30 challenges and an arcade mode. It should be emphasized that although this is an old-school game, it can still be heavily addictive because players won't stop until they beat the top score and progress to the next chapter.

'Centipede: Recharged'

"Centipede: Recharged" is another classic title that shares a lot of similarities with "Black Widow: Recharged." Note that both games share the same publisher, Atari, so they will feature the same graphics and gameplay animation. For reference, the difference between the two games lies in their puzzle challenges.

"Black Widow: Recharged" concentrates on action-and-shooting experience, while "Centipede: Recharged" features tricky puzzles and strategic moves.

Fortunately for fans, they won't have to choose which one is the "better" game since both can easily be downloaded on Epic Games Store.

'Dauntless'

If fans are interested in racing, adventure, and action settings, then they should definitely try the "Dauntless." This is a free-to-play online action RPG game published by Phoenix Labs which boasts seasonal events, regular updates, new monsters, and more!

"Dauntless" has subpar graphics when compared to Triple-A titles, but it has enough appeal to attract its own player base. It should also be emphasized that Epic Games is giving away free in-game items to interested fans.

Players who download and play "Dauntless" can receive the "Epic Slayer Kit" at no cost on March 10. The bundle will also include a 3-day pass for the VIP club.

'Cities: Skylines'

Last on this list is the iconic city builder game "Cities: Skylines." This was a game that originally launched in 2015 but continues to be played up to date.

According to Eurogamer, "Cities: Skylines" features various free updates and a ton of DLC from Paradox Interactive. Note, however, that all cosmetic packs for the game will not be included in the Epic Games Store offer.

Unlike the other three, "Cities: Skylines" will be available on the Epic Games Store between March 10-17. After that, the offer will expire and players will have to pay extra to buy the game.
