Get the new Nexus 7 16GB for $199, 32GB for $239 from Staples

The new Nexus 7's official launch date is July 30, but some retailers have jumped the gun. Staples is now selling the 7-inch tablet online and a limited coupon code knocks $30 off the price.

When Google announced the new Nexus 7, it said the tablet would launch on July 30. The tablet has already started showing up in retail stores and Amazon has it in stock and ready to ship. Staples is also looking to attract consumers looking to purchase the new 7-inch tablet and is offering a coupon code that brings the price of the tablets down to $199 and $239 when applied at checkout, instead of the $229 and $269 the tablet retails for. The coupon code only works through July 28, so if you're looking to pick up the new Nexus, now is a good time to do it.

The Nexus 7 features a 7-inch 323 pixels per inch (ppi) 1920 x 1200 HD IPS Corning scratch-resistant Corning Glass display, is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor and an Adreno 320 graphics processing unit (GPU), runs Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, includes 16GB or 32GB of internal storage and 2GB of RAM. It also has a 5-megapixel rear camera with auto-focus, 1.2-megapixel front facing camera, stereo speakers with surround sound and Frauhofer audio technology, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, NFC, and 4G LTE radio in the Wi-Fi + 4G LTE model. The tablet also includes a microUSB port, Slimport for 1080p HDMI output, microSD expansion slot with support for up to 64GB microSD cards, wireless charging capabilities, a 3,950 mAh battery that lasts for up to 9 hours of active use, 9 hours of HD video playback, 10 hours of web browsing or e-reading, and 300 hours of standby time.
