32GB Verizon Samsung Galaxy S4 available for $199.99

Verizon just recently began offering its customers the 32GB Samsung Galaxy S4 for $249.99, but a new deal from Amazon offers it for $199.99.

When Samsung announced the Galaxy S4 it gave AT&T the exclusive on the 32GB model. Verizon, Sprint, and T-Mobile customers were forced to settle for the 16GB model, which wouldn't have been a big deal if the smartphones shipped with more available user storage. Samsung's "enhancements" such as TouchWiz and other features took up significant amounts of space, especially for 16GB users. Samsung has since released a software update that addresses the issue by allowing users to install applications onto a removable microSD card.

A few weeks ago, Verizon became the second U.S. carrier to offer its customers the 32GB Samsung Galaxy S4, but it initially charged a premium over AT&T by pricing it at $299.99. A few days later Verizon lowered the price to match AT&T's $249.99 price tag.

A new deal from WireFly now allows for considerable savings over the price of the 32GB Galaxy S4 Verizon sells online and in retail stores. WireFly has the smartphone in stock and ready to ship for $199.99.

The Verizon Samsung Galaxy S4 features a 5-inch 1920 x 1080 full HD display with a pixel density of 441 pixels per inch (ppi) and Gorilla Glass 3 protection, runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with Samsung's TouchWiz Nature UX, is powered by a 1.9GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, includes 32GB of internal storage, 2GB of RAM, a microSD expansion slot with support for up to 64GB microSD cards, a 13-megapixel rear camera with auto flash and zero shutter lag, HD 1080p video capture at 30fps, a 2-megapixel front facing camera, 4G LTE radio, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0, infrared LED universal remote control, and a 2,600mAh removable battery.

WireFly is offering the 32GB Verizon Samsung Galaxy S4 in a choice of White Frost or Black Mist  for $199.99 when signing a new 2-year contract. The retailer is also throwing in free shipping via FedEx.
