Johnny Depp and Amber Heard Trial

Johnny Depp is suing his ex-wife Heard for $50 million for defamation due to the op-ed that she wrote for the Washington Post in 2018, where she stated she was a victim of domestic violence, implying that Depp was the perpetrator.

Heard is counter-suing the actor for $100 million.

The respective legal teams had already made their closing arguments last Friday, May 27. The court will be closed from Saturday through Monday in observance of the Memorial Day holiday weekend.

If necessary, the jurors will resume their deliberations on Tuesday, May 31.

Social media has widely become so invested as this trial was broadcasted live. The trial has trended on Twitter, memes have been made, and as for TikTok, this subject just exploded.

TikTok Trends From Depp v. Heard Trial

TikTok creators have been very quick to take sides and improvise their own versions of their favorite parts during the trial. Numerous creators made skits and funnily added some spice.

Here are some of the compilations we found.

An account from Proud Dog Mom used the audio "My dog stepped on a bee" from Amber Heard, one of the famous lines from the trial that went viral on TikTok. And literally, the dogs are stepping on a stuffed bee. The two dogs were also dressed for the occasion. One dog was all wigged up and dressed like Judge Penney Azcarate. How cute can that be?

Here is another TikTok creator showing off her pets. Notice the dog's teary and puffy eyes, great acting skills for sure.

Another video that went extremely viral during the trial was from a former TMZ reporter named Morgan Tremaine, who testified last Wednesday, May 25. He was asked about the video that was released by TMZ, a video in the kitchen where Johnny was seen allegedly behaving rudely. Heard's lawyer asked Tremaine if he was "seeking 15 minutes of fame" on the stand since it was televised. There was an implied assumption that the former TMZ reporter was just taking the stand to get popularity. However, he responded by stating that he is not seeking 15 minutes of fame but rather somewhat putting himself as a target by TMZ, a litigious organization. Oh, and a rebuttal came quickly. Tremaine said, "I can say the same thing by taking Amber Heard as a client." This video right here went viral with millions of views and an astounding 1.1 million likes.

People say he looks like Draco Malfoy from the Harry Potter movies. With supporting comments such as "1000 points for Slytherin." Some comments also said that he took out the "uno reverse" card.  Read Also: Louis Theroux's 'My Money Don't Jiggle, Jiggle' Rap Turned Dance Trend Is Taking TikTok By Storm Since the video of him went viral, numerous TikTok creators have made skits. One of them was from Helen Christie, where Tremaine himself duetted the video with his reaction. Helen Christie was praised for her overall acting, with props, wigs, and makeup.

A TikTok creator, Peter Nugget, also posted his extreme comedic take on the case as a "gen z lawyer," and his reason for numerous objections.

Another TikTok that went viral is from a creator named Paige Gaidieri, showing off her acting skills by mimicking famous Hollywood personalities like Britney Spears and Jennifer Aniston.

Lastly, this next TikTok entry is from a creator named Chantal Hermez. This video right now has under 2.2 million views. Miss Hermez is showing off her talent for acting and brilliance in coming up with multiple reasons for the objections. Such reasons are the lack of "speculum," lack of "competency," lack of "literacy," and the highlight was the lack of "foundation."

However, in her own opinion, she suggests using the Maybelline rather than the Revlon one. Still, if you have a better foundation recommendation, you can check her account and comment with your favorite.
