Capcom’s 2022 Games Showcase Now Has a Definite Date — When Will It Be Held?

Capcom will soon be holding its own streaming event in the immediate future. 

The popular game developer recently announced that Capcom Showcase, its own live-streaming digital event, will be held in less than a week and that it will be bringing more information about its previously announced titles, per GameSpot

With the event's announcement, Capcom joins other game developing companies who are also hosting their own events, such as Xbox and Bethesda Summer Games Showcase on June 12 and Ubisoft, according to Game Ranx.

Capcom Showcase Digital Livestreaming Event Details

Capcom's announcement mentioned that its Capcom Showcase event would be held on June 13 at 3 PM Pacific Standard Time. It will consist of 35 minutes of news and in-depth updates on previously announced titles such as Resident Evil 4 Remake and Street Fighter 6, both of which were revealed during Sony's latest State of Play event. 

The game developer also mentioned that the date and time of the event are subject to change, and as such, Capcom fans and interested people alike should keep an eye out for changes to the event's schedule on the official Capcom Showcase website.

The event will also reveal more information about Capcom's other games, such as Capcom Fighting Collection, Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium, Resident Evil Re:Verse, Exoprimal, Pragmata, and Resident Evil Village VR

Capcom has yet to confirm which of the games it previously presented will be making an appearance during the event. However, it is very likely that it will cover each of the games' progress during Capcom Showcase.

Capcom Fighting Collection and Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium are scheduled for release in 2022, with the former being expected to be released on June 24. The other games, with the exception of Resident Evil Village, were set for release in 2023. 

Nintendo Everything mentioned in its article that Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak may also make an appearance during the 35-minute live stream event due to the game being launched on June 30. 

Capcom Showcase will be part of IGN's Summer of Gaming and will join other events in the tech industry, such as Netflix Geeked Week, Sonic Central, Black Voices in Gaming, IGN Expo, the Xbox and Bethesda Showcase, and the PC Gaming Show, according to IGN.

Where To Watch Capcom Showcase

Capcom mentioned in its announcement that its fans and interested gamers could watch the event on the official Capcom Twitch and YouTube channels. 

However, they could also choose to watch the event through the company's co-streamer and creator community. For now, people who wish to watch the event in English on June 13 can tune in to GameSpot, Easy Allies, IGN, Game Informer, MinnMax, Kinda Funny, and Fanbyte to do so. 

People who wish to watch the event in Spanish can tune in to 3D Juegos, Extreaordinerd, and Tierragamer on June 13. 

Capcom could expand the list further in the coming days.
