Sometimes, when looking and trying to discover something new to watch, it might seem like we have seen it all. It can be that sometimes a lot of the recommended content shares the same stories, same genre, same actors, and sometimes even predictable plots.

This is because the Netflix recommendations are determined by the things that you have viewed or added to your list most recently. We all have experienced running out of interesting content to watch. When browsing through the vast library that the streaming service provides, there is a good chance that you will find a large number of movies and television series that you have never seen before.

With that, here are some of the numerous Netflix secret codes available that you can utilize based on the genre you want to watch. These codes include a plethora of content, may it be TV-shows, movies, dramas, documentaries, sports shows, and many more.

How To Use Netflix Category Codes

To access the Netflix category codes, you just need to go to this URL:

First, type this URL: https://www.netflix.com/browse/genre/
Do not immediately click it just yet. The second step would be to choose the secret code of the genre you want to watch.
Then paste that to the tail end of the URL provided.

For example, I am going to want to watch any content related to action and adventure that has the code 1365. I will first type the URL provided, then paste the code at the end.

Other examples are:

Code 43040 for action comedies, https://www.netflix.com/browse/genre/43040
