Reddit user u/miasmadelta mentioned in their post in the r/fireemblem subreddit that the unannounced Fire Emblem game will feature a brand new story and characters. They also pointed out that the game's protagonist seems to be sporting blue and red hair, with the colors split evenly down the middle of the protagonist's hair design.

The protagonist's hair design is probably a reference to the Nintendo Switch's color design.

The photos u/miasmadelta provided in their Reddit post were quite obsolete by the time it was published, and as such, they are not of great quality. However, it does feature the protagonist and a selection of characters.

A quick translation of the characters' names using Google Lens show that some of the characters are named Anzai, Emperor Mande, Kagetsu, and Beauty.

The game allegedly reused some aspects of the canceled Fire Emblem game for the Nintendo Wii and that it would involve a summoning system similar to that of Fire Emblem Heroes.

Based on the data u/miasmadelta analyzed, they mentioned that "it has been completed for quite some time now," but they aren't sure what is causing Nintendo to delay the game's official announcement.

u/miasmadelta's post acts as a confirmation of Emily Rogers' Famiboards post, which includes several alleged details about the new game.

Rogers is an industry insider and contributor at Nintendo World Report, according to IGN and her official Twitter account.

In her Famiboards post, Rogers mentioned that the unannounced Fire Emblem game is a new game and is not a remake. It would also be the product of the collaboration between Intelligent Systems, Koei Tecmo, and Gust, a division of Koei Tecmo Holdings.

Gust is said to have heavily assisted with the game's visuals/graphics, which are an improvement over Fire Emblem: Three Houses.

Additionally, the game's main protagonist will have a dragon as their mother and has strange red and blue hair.

Finally, the new "Emblems" gimmick the new Fire Emblem game would feature will allow players to summon "[Fire Emblem] characters from the past" for the main character's squad.

When Will Nintendo Announce and Release The Game?

Emily and u/miasmadelta didn't mention when Nintendo and Intelligent Systems would officially announce the new Fire Emblem game nor when it would be released. However, u/miasmadelta's post suggested that both publisher and developer are waiting for a big Nintendo Direct presentation to turn the announcement into reality.

As everything discussed in this article are leaks, it is prudent to take these pieces of information with a pinch of salt until Nintendo officially announces its existence.

Fortunately, we might not have to wait that long; Nintendo Direct is allegedly scheduled to happen on 29, according to former IGN producer and God of War studio writer Alanah Pearce in a Twitch live stream a few days ago, per Kotaku.
