Princess of Wales Diana poses, 27 January 1988, during her visit to the Footscray Park in suburb of Melbourne.

The Honorable Diana Frances Spencer, the Princess of Wales, was born on July 1, 1961. When her father obtained his earldom in 1975, she was given the style Lady Diana Spencer, according to The Royal Family.

The life of Princess Diana continues to intrigue most people even today, more than 20 years after her passing on Aug. 31, 1997, in a car accident in Paris.

Below are the Netflix shows you can watch right now if you're interested in learning more about the enigmatic life of Princess Diana.

'The Crown' (2016)

"The Crown," a lavish and expertly performed drama about Queen Elizabeth II's early reign, moves at a leisurely and oftentimes sluggish pace. The Guardian noted that the first season is rumored to cost about £100 million to make.

Variety mentioned that the marriage between a young, sheltered royal and the nation she symbolically governs is shown in "The Crown." At the same time that it binds her even more closely to the ill-defined and difficult duties that are placed upon her at the tender age of 25, that relationship eventually serves to distance the young queen from those around her. Claire Foy portrays every aspect of that process with clarity and extraordinary control.

But many people will find "The Crown" to be almost impossible to resist. Some confrontations and realizations are written with keen perception. The intended audience for this show is fans of exquisitely produced costume dramas yearning for something to appreciate.

'The Royal House of Windso'r (2017)

The intriguing history of the House of Windsor, Britain's royal family, is told by award-winning historian Andrew Roberts.

A blog of Roberts mentioned that he recounted the four monarchs' histories through two devastating world wars, the Abdication Crisis, three coronations, and Princess Diana's terrible death, all the way up to Prince William of Wales and Kate Middleton's nuptials, for which he is NBC's royal commentator.

'Diana: The Musical' (2021)

The Broadway show "Diana: The Musical," which was filmed at the Longacre Theatre on West 48th Street last summer without any spectators while the show itself was put on hold due to the COVID outbreak, has finally been made available on Netflix.

The Guardian mentioned that it is a goofy dramatization of Princess Diana's life, complete with footmen and flunkies who, after donning a different costume, transform into phalanxes of snarling tabloid hacks, as Princess Diana somberly sings of her loneliness and tenacity in the spotlight below.

The La Jolla Playhouse's Christopher Ashley is the director, and Joe DiPietro and Bon Jovi keyboardist David Bryan are responsible for the book, music, and lyrics. Jeanna de Waal, a musical theater performer of British descent, plays Princess Diana. Erin Davies plays Camilla Parker Bowles, Roe Hartrampf plays the pretentious Charles, and Broadway veteran Judy Kaye plays Princess Diana's step-grandmother Barbara Cartland, a chiffon-clad romantic novelist.
