Apple previously announced that its streaming platform will broadcast sports events such as Major League Soccer and Friday Night Baseball. The NFL may be the third one.

Rumors That the NFL Might Start Streaming to Apple TV+ Soon

NFL games could soon be included in Apple TV+'s steadily expanding library of series, films, documentaries, and live TV selections, according to Apple Insider.

Citing a Puck News report, the news outlet noted that at the Sun Valley Conference in July, Tim Cook and Eddy Cue met with Rodger Goodell, the commissioner of the NFL.

People with knowledge of the situation have speculated that the deal's bidding started at $2 billion, which eliminated potential buyers like Disney, Fox, Comcast, and CBS. Puck News (via Apple Insider) says that the transaction might cost Apple $3 billion, nevertheless.

Although there is no official confirmation that a contract was reached between the two parties, Apple has long been rumored to be a contender.

Major League Soccer Will Start Streaming in Apple TV+ Next Year

Mac Rumors reported that Major League Soccer and Apple announced a collaboration last month, which will see every MLS match broadcast through the Apple TV app for the next ten years, starting in 2023.

Apple will offer access to MLS games via a brand-new streaming service that will only be accessible through the Apple TV app. A weekly live match whip-around show, game replays, highlights, analysis, and in-depth behind-the-scenes looks at players and clubs will be included in addition to all matches.

Access to all MLS and League Cup games as well as a few MLS Next Pro and MLS Next games will also be available.

Apple TV+ users will have access to a selection of MLS and League Cup games at no additional cost, with a restricted number of games accessible for free. Full-season MLS ticket packages will include access to the new MLS streaming service, as per Mac Rumors.

All MLS and League Cup games will have broadcasters calling the action in both English and Spanish when the service debuts, and all games involving Canadian teams will be available in French.

In the following months, further information about the service, including subscription costs, programming details, and when fans may sign up, will be released.

Friday Night Baseball Will Be on Apple TV+ As Well

In a separate report by Apple Insider, it was said that the July Friday Night Baseball schedule in Apple TV+ was just made public.

Only on the Apple TV app, fans can enjoy Friday Night Baseball games and additional media, including brand-new, exclusive shows like "Countdown to First Pitch" for a preview of the upcoming week's matches and "MLB Daily Recap."

Fans may view personalized MLB highlights and follow their preferred teams in Apple News's News app. A curated selection of highlights and articles from across the league are available to fans every Friday.

Fans can access a selection of classic songs honoring baseball in Apple Music, as well as special playlists of batters' walk-up music from teams featured on Friday Night Baseball each week.
