Android 13 Is Now Available in Beta 2 for Lenovo Tab P12 Pro, With Updates To YouTube Music

Android 13 is getting nearer to completion.

Android developers are notifying companies to brace for the launch of the latest technology of Android 13.

Due to the new features and the updates to systems and functions, apps that are running on Android need to make a few adjustments for compatibility.

This holds true as YouTube Music has announced that they have already made the alterations needed to build on top of the new Android 13.

Furthermore, the Lenovo Tab P12 Pro is now eligible to receive the most recent Android 13 Beta 2 update.

Android 13 in Lenovo

Although it is based on Android 13 Beta 2, Lenovo is still referring to this update for the Tab P12 Pro as a "Developer Preview." However, it does offer a number of adjustments and improvements in comparison to the first beta that was made available in May.

According to 9To5Mac, "That means that, without flashing, it's not clear if things such as fingerprint unlock, face unlock, multi-touch gestures, and even screen output via HDMI and cast functionality are possible in the second Android 13 Beta to build for the tablet."

Although the release notes for the update show that Android 13 Beta 2 will bring the security patch for June 2022 to the Lenovo Tab P12 Pro.

Despite being delayed, this patch is still significant since it will have an essential improvement to the device's security.

However, it is important to note that Lenovo made no further comments as to why it got delayed, nor provided any confirmation regarding whether or not any of the known issues have been fixed.

For Lenovo Tab P12 Pro users, to ensure they have this, they will need to manually install the update on their devices.

Android 13 in YouTube Music

Android 13 is adding YouTube Music to the numerous software products that are prepared for its newest iteration. In order for applications to make use of the new architecture, API level 33 must be their goal.
