TOWSON, MARYLAND - JUNE 20: Customers shop at The Apple Store at the Towson Town Center mall, the first of the company's retail locations in the U.S. where workers voted over the weekend to unionize, on June 20, 2022 in Towson, Maryland.

Here are some of the discontinued products from the iPhone maker that might be seeing the light of day again in the future launch of Apple.

Apple's Discontinued Product Might Return

According to a recent report by Mac Rumors, recent rumors from various sources hint that Apple is planning for the returns of some of its offerings that it has shelved in the past.

The Cupertino-based tech giant discontinued its 12-inch MacBook variation way back in 2019. It comes as Apple also gave its MacBook Air and the 13-inch MacBook Pro a few refinements in the same year.

And in March of last year or 2021, the iPhone maker ended the reign of its two products, the iMac Pro and the full-sized HomePod smart speaker.

The renowned tech giant says that it has discontinued the full-size HomePod last year as it gears to shift its focus on the HomePod mini.

Meanwhile, Apple highlights that most of its Mac customers highly prefer its 27-inch iMac. And on top of that, folks needing a bit of boost in performance could easily choose the Mac Pro.

And as such, the Cupertino giant decided to bid farewell to the iMac Pro last year.

iMac Pro's Return?

But this time, rumors suggest that Apple is working to bring back its iMac Pro, which sports the in-house silicon chips of the tech giant.

SAN JOSE, CA - JUNE 05: The new iMac Pro is displayed during the 2017 Apple Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC) at the San Jose Convention Center on June 5, 2017 in San Jose, California.

The Bloomberg journalist, none other than Mark Gurman, reports that the iPhone maker is likely gearing up for the release of either a larger iMac or the comeback of the iMac Pro, perhaps "as early as next year."

Based on the predicted release date alone, Mac Rumors concludes that it might run the upcoming M2 Pro and M2 Max chips.

Apple 12-inch MacBook

It has been a few years since we last saw the 12-inch MacBook, which first got the shimmer of the spotlight way back in March 2015.

But it appears that Apple is considering bringing back the lightweight and ultra-thin MacBook.

Gurman also says that the tech giant is looking to launch the 12-inch variant once again, sometime in 2024.
