Logitech Releases Chorus, Providing Better Sound Quality for Meta Quest 2 VR Headset

Logitech is releasing Chorus, a device that increases the sound quality of a VR headset.

Logitech has now introduced a whole new integrated audio solution called the Logitech Chorus. This technology was built specifically for Meta Quest 2 to be the most advanced audio integration possible.

Logitech's Chorus is a virtual reality (VR) audio device that features speakers that can swivel to find the optimal position in the user's ears and slip onto each side of the VR headset with a suitable stock strap or Meta's Elite straps.

In designing the audio accessory for the VR headset, Logitech had the goal of wanting people to discover more of what VR has to offer.

According to Businesswire, Vadim Kogan, head of AR/VR at Logitech, stated, "Chorus enhances the fit and comfort of Meta Quest 2, while allowing those who love long play sessions to stay immersed in their favorite games and experiences through the audio integration in a comfortable design built for the VR gamer."

According to Logitech, the speakers come equipped with drivers that have been specially adjusted so that they can reproduce both the most dramatic moments and the most intricate features of the metaverse.

It is the first high-performance off-ear audio solution with large open-back audio drivers to be released.

Since it takes a new approach to headset design and incorporates off-ear acoustics that have been specifically adjusted by the user, the new Logitech Chorus achieves a higher level of immersive and ultra-realistic audio.

Senior manager of Logitech, Matt Green, said the Logitech Chorus combines the convenience and ease that people need with the genuine audio that gamers demand.

All at a price that is cheaper than that of other audio solutions on the market today that offer features that are comparable to those of the Logitech Chorus.

Green added, "Chorus is more than the next step in audio for VR, it represents years of feedback from developers, gamers, and the VR community, and we couldn't be more excited for this addition to the immersive VR experience."

Logitech CHorus Specs Features

The Chorus from Logitech is powered via the USB-C port of the Quest 2, and it also supports USB-C passthrough, which allows users to keep their headset charged while also connecting other devices to it. The Quest 2's volume rocker is the one responsible for controlling the volume.

According to The Verge, it has a design with an open back, speakers that can rotate, and an integrated solution for the strap. Users of Meta 2 Quest now have access to the best possible solution thanks to this innovative design, which enables them to maintain a healthy body temperature while navigating the Metaverse at high speeds and with complete independence.

When users are gaming, working out, or being creative, they won't have to worry about interference from the Chorus in or around their ears. There is never a need to remove the device from the virtual reality headset or unplug it because it is permanently attached there.

There is a price of $99 listed for the audio accessory. The Logitech Chorus is a headphone that is lightweight and comfortable to use for extended periods of time. It has a total weight of 182 grams (6.42 ounces).

Tech enthusiasts who want a more immersive experience than what the Quest 2's integrated speakers are able to deliver might find this to be a worthwhile investment.
