Visible, a service offered by Verizon, has discontinued Party Pay in favor of its two new options.

Visible, a wireless phone service provider by Verizon, is arguably most known for its data plan, which is a budget-friendly choice with unlimited talk, text, and data, is considered among the best prepaid phone plans available today.

Last week, the service provider said that it would be adding another data plan for its consumers, called Visible Plus plan. However, a substantial number of users that upgraded their service ran into issues.

Visible Upgraded Their Service

Visible made several major announcements last week, including the introduction of new plans that make use of a whole different network infrastructure. Customers were informed by the carrier that if they decided to upgrade, they could pay $45 per month for the Visible Plus plan to have better roaming coverage, latency, and extra features, according to the news report by The Verge.

The new Visible Plus plan includes a faster Ultra Wideband 5G network in addition to unlimited data and 50GB of premium service. Additionally, the Visible Plus plan offers roaming service when you visit Mexico and Canada, and you can make free international calls from the U.S. to more than 30 other nations, as per Tom's Guide.

As previously mentioned, the new plans use an entirely different "core network routing experience."

Not Everyone Is Experiencing the Upgrade in the Same Way

Having access to a faster Ultra Wideband 5G network and other features sound good, aside from the fact that there are some users who apparently had problems accessing the services when they decided to upgrade to the Visible Plus plan.

The majority of people who successfully upgraded or signed up seem to have had great experiences; they all mention noticing faster speeds and substantially improved latency, according to The Verge.

Some people claim they can't tell the difference between the new plan and the legacy plan.

However, the change has been problematic for many other consumers due to service and customer support concerns.

What Are the Complaints of Visible Users

Lack of service after upgrading is one of the most common complaints on the Visible subreddit

Reports of partially-working services are frequently experienced by users. Some customers claim to be able to text and call but not use data, while others claim to have data but no calls or messages. Unexpectedly many customers have even reported being able to use data, make calls, and send texts but not incoming calls.

A few claimed that after signing up, they received no service at all.

But not all complaints are about Visible's data plan.

A few users have also reported having to wait or talk to Visible support staff for hours on end.

Will Visible Force Users to Upgrade to a Higher Plan

Separately, someone shared a note from customer service the day the new plans were unveiled, suggesting Visible intended to push everyone onto the new plans beginning on Jan 1 next year.

As long as the underlying infrastructure is still operational, Visible, however, claims it will allow users to continue using the legacy Visible Unlimited subscription.
