The trailer for "Weird: The Al Yankovic Story" which documents Al Yankovic's early years, rise to stardom, as well as his complex life and love life, has been made available on Roku Channel.

Here's What to Expect From 'Weird: The Al Yankovic Story'

A full trailer for ''Weird: The Al Yankovic Story'' that stars Daniel Radcliffe as Weird Al has been released by Roku Channel. This biopic about the life of Weird Al as a parody artist and his squeeze box is anticipated to be available for streaming this November.

The preview showcases the protagonist's early shots to make renditions of existing songs using made-up lyrics, like his "My Bologna" version, which has amused his childhood peers. Aside from this, a scene also displays a time when Al's polka mania worried his parents.

It then proceeds to how he was discovered by Dr. Demento (Rainn Wilson) on the way to his Grammy break and how Madonna (Evan Rachel Wood) led him to complicated twists and falls.

Al Yankovic, the top-grossing comic in the world, is the subject of the whole story covering his early years through his incredible climb to fame through his "Eat It" and "Like a Surgeon." It will also discuss his tumultuous relationships with famous people and his indecent lifestyle.

In the screenplay, which Eric Appel creates, Appel and Al Yankovic himself have chosen actors like Thomas Lennon, Toby Huss, Julianna Nicholson, Spencer Treat Clark, and Quinta Brunson to portray roles.

After its international premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival a month earlier, The Al Yankovic Story will be made available to watch exclusively on the Roku Channel.

Roku Channel Now has 14 More Linear Channels

As reported by Tech Crunch on August 17, the Roku channel has added 14 additional linear channels to its Live TV guide. As this will make several news channels available, viewers may now watch NBC, San Diego, Boston, San Fransisco Bay Area, and LX News.

Roku has always provided its users with access to free TV series and movies, in contrast to other companies that are primarily focused on producing content that is financed by advertisements. According to TVREV's findings, the news is the most watched category of content available to stream for free but sponsored by ads.

Following disappointing account growth in the first and second quarters of 2022, Roku needs to convince customers and investors of its value. Since its debut in 2017, it has amassed tens of thousands of free TV series and films, and live channels are constantly being added.

The video streaming service platform has already introduced eight local NBC news channels that are now available, including NBC New York, NBC Los Angeles News, NBC Philadelphia News, NBC Washington, D.C. News, and NBC South Florida News, among others.

It also offers Western, Spanish-language, actual crime, and other genre channels to its viewers now. These new channels include BBC Kids, Court TV, Grit Xtra, Cine Estrella, Ion Mistery, Roku Channel Western, and Ion.

The Ion Channel will stream episodes of popular shows, including "NCIS," "Chicago P.D.," "Law & Order: SVU," and others. Likewise, Roku Channel Westerns will offer fans well-known Western films, like "Apache Junction," "The Westerner," and "The Rebel."
