The Verge also mentioned that the record player comes with a replaceable needle and cartridge. In addition to these features, the elegant and slick design of the record player makes it a piece worth having.

The date of the record player's release is not specified yet by Ikea.

Meanwhile, as mentioned previously, the Obegränsad collection also feature a desk designed for music production. The desk is also complete with "two speaker stands" plus a "pull-out shelf for MIDI keyboards and other controllers."

The desk is huge enough to accommodate a computer, mixers, and other essential gear. It also comes with an armchair for comfortable working.

As announced in June, the collection will be available in IKEA in fall. According to Engadget, there will be a total of 20-plus pieces included in the collection.

Ikea Collaborates with Swedish House Mafia

On Wednesday night, the Obegränsad was previewed by Ikea. It is a limited-edition collection, which was produced by the company in partnership with the music group Swedish House Mafia.

Obegränsad was launched at Goya Studios. Those who attended the event are able to touch, play, and sit on the 20-plus pieces of the collection, which were on tactile display.

Swedish House Mafia members include Sebastian Ingrosso, Axwell and Steve Angello. Axwell and Angello were present at the event.

According to Angello, "growing up, we used to hack IKEA's furniture all the time."

Therefore, the trio approached the company regarding doing something that could be made available to the public. They also wanted the product of their collaboration to be affordable, functional, and great.

The collection, which are geared toward music, will be launched in October. It targets both creators and consumers.

The Obergräsad is an all-black collection that offer a minimalist design. It made use of Ikea's classic designs.

People would say that the accessories, which include the plush cuddly throw, squishy cushion cover, area rug, and slippers, are the stars of the Obergräsad collection.

However, the main attraction is the iconic record player. It has a unique and minimalist design that would attract consumers to get one for themselves.
