Warner Bros. Interactive Adds Stripe the Gremlin, Halloween-Themed Content to MultiVersus

The spirit of Halloween is alive and well in MultiVesus' latest update.

Warner Bros. Games has recently announced the addition of Stripe the Gremlin, the main antagonist of the "Gremlins" franchise, to the character roster of its free-to-play crossover fighting game, MultiVersus.

Stripes the Gremlin's addition to the game is accompanied by the arrival of Halloween-themed content to give the game a spooky feel this month of October.

MultiVersus Stripes the Gremlin Addition Details

Warner Bros. games mentioned in its announcement that Stripe the Gremlin is an Assassin-class character with a moveset that complements his mischievous and rowdy nature as a gremlin.

Stripe was previously teased as a character addition to the game in a future update along with Black Adam.

For those unaware, Stripe is introduced to the public in the first "Gremlins" movie, with him being the leader of the first batch of mogwai that turned into gremlins due to them feeding after midnight, per the Gremlins Fandom.

A gremlin is a creature with scaly reptile-like skin, large batlike ears, three sharp claws on its hands and feet, as well as sharp teeth.

These features are prominently utilized in Stripe's moveset, which includes claw attacks and even a buzzsaw, chainsaw, dynamite, and a skateboard.

Interestingly, Stripe can briefly attach himself to an opponent to avoid hits and cause damage while doing so.
