Pokémon Reveals Its 1000th from Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

Pokémon games have been a part of the childhood of many. Even though there are those who never watched the show or played the game, they have probably heard of it. There are hundreds of Pokémon under the namesake title, and they have finally released the 1000th, as mentioned by IGN.

Who's That Pokémon?

Well, the most awaited name for the Pokémon is, Gholdengo. He evolves from the ghost Pokémon, Gimmighoul. You can find the latter lurking and haunting treasure chests. Admittedly, the 1000th Pokémon looks like a dancing inflatable tube man, which you'll find in front of newly opened stores. He is still pretty cool though.

If you look closely, you'll notice that he has horizontal lines across his body. That's because he is made of 1000 coins. It's not just him too. The cover of his Pokédex shows that he riding on a skateboard, and it's also made out of coins. It also says that the Pokémon gets along with others and makes friends with anyone fast.

If you're wondering how to evolve your Gimmighoul to a Gholdengo, I'll give you a hint. It also has something to do with 1000. It seems, that once you defeat or capture a Gimmighoul, it will drop Gimmighoul coins, which you need to collect 1000 of to level up your Pokémon.

Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

You'll be able to spot the celebrated Pokémon in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. However, they are only available on the Nintendo Switch. To start the game, you'll have to pick between three starter Pokémon, as it has always been. You'll choose between Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly.

Sprigatito is a cat and a grass-type Pokémon. According to the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet website, it tends to sulk if its Trainer gives their attention to other Pokémon. Fuecoco is a fire crocodile Pokémon. Long story short, he loves food. Third is Quaxly, a duckling Pokémon, who is a water-type. It likes to keep itself tidy, especially its head.

There are two books in both games, The Scarlet Book and The Violet Book. You can already guess which books are featured where. It holds the records of an expedition from long ago. The expedition is said to have happened in an uncharted area, somewhere in the Paldea region.

Each book describes a different monster. In The Scarlet Book, a monster that goes by Great Tusk attacked the expedition team using its large body and tusks. In The Violet Book, a different monster is featured, called Iron Treads. It curls itself and then rolls to attack its target, leaving a trail wherever it rolls.

You'll meet characters like Arven, an upperclassman from the academy who will ask you to help him out. You'll see him carry The Scarlet or Violet Book a lot. You'll also meet Gym Leaders like Brassius, who fights with grass-type Pokémon, and is called Verdant Virtuoso.

Like previous Pokémon games, it will also be an open world. You'll also be able to interact with other players, since the game has a multiplayer option. You can play with up to three people, four in total, and explore the regions in the game as you go.
