Black Friday is almost here, and so do the deals that come with it.
Microsoft has recently revealed it is placing a number of Fortnite game packs and a handful of expansion packs for The Sims 4 on sale for the duration of Thanksgiving week and Black Friday.
As such, here are the game packs gamers may want to purchase within the week to capitalize on their lowered discounts.
Thanksgiving for 2022 falls on Nov. 24, while Black Friday comes the day after: on Nov. 25.
Fortnite Tech Future Pack - $9 Off
Fortnite's Tech Future Packs allow its players to drop into the game in style with neon lights and tech-advanced suits along with a pack-exclusive skin for their pickaxes.
This pack includes the NeraLynx, P33LY, and CRZ-8 outfits; the Neural-Scratch Claws, NanaTech Blade, and Tech Plate 8 Back Blings; and the Neural-Scratch Claws Pickaxe, Nanatech Blade Pickaxe, and Lucky 8's Pickaxe.
Thanks to Microsoft's discount, Fortnite's Tech Future Pack will only cost $8.99 for the duration of Thanksgiving Week.
Fornite Minty Legends Pack - $8 Off
If you're looking for winter-themed outfits, bling, and skins in Fortnite, the Minty Legends Pack will provide what you need for that cold Wintery feeling.
The pack comes with three outfits, back blings, and pickaxe skins, as well as a Fire Mint Wrap and 1,000 V-Bucks. The outfits included in the pack are the Fresh Aura, Minty Bomber, and Skellemint Oro Outfits; while it also has a Minty Multipack, Spearmint Satchel, and Minty Mantle Back Blings.
As for the pickaxe skins, players can get the Minty Mountaineer, Freshbreaker, and Triple Mint Scepter pickaxe skins through this game pack.

Fortnite Shadows Rising Pack - $8 Off
Do you think you look better in black? Epic Games think so too with Fortnite's Shadows Rising Pack.
Although the pack doesn't have pickaxe skins like the first two, it does have an Array Wrap that players can use to customize their weapons.
As for the pack's other contents, it has the Shadow Skully, Shadowbird, and Perfect Shadow Outfits; and the Stark Satchel, Shadowbird Wings, and Perfect Wings Back Blings.
The Shadows Rising Pack has a price tag of $7.99 on the Xbox Store during Thanksgiving week only.

The Sims 4: Cottage Living Expansion Pack - $20 Off
Do you want to see and experience what life is like in the countryside? The Sims 4's Cottage Living expansion pack gives that chance for players' sims and provides a good feel of being on a farm in a small-town world.
The expansion comes with the ability to raise or befriend different kinds of animals, from livestock to even llamas and foxes, and new recipes and features focusing on the pack's countryside theme.
Lastly, players can have their sims settle down in Henford-on-Bagley, a new countryside-themed world for players to experience.
The Sims 4: Cottage Living expansion pack has a price tag of 19.99 on the Xbox Store for the entire Thanksgiving week.
The Sims 4: Werewolves Game Pack - $20 Off
Maxis first introduced werewolves in The Sims 3 as part of The Sims 3: Supernatural expansion pack, per The Sims Wiki. But the lack of werewolves to go up against the earlier released vampires in The Sims 4 has some players wanting for werewolves to come back to Maxis' long-lived video game.
The Sims 4: Werewolves game pack answers those players' requests, with it allowing them to have their sims cursed as a werewolf and roleplay however they wish. Players can have their sims embrace their animalistic nature of try to overcome it.
The game pack also comes with a new world for players to settle their newly-created werewolves in - Moonwood Mill. From there, they can find a pack to hang around with or choose to be a lone wolf. They could even find love atop Moonwood Mill's Howling Point.

The Sims 4: High School Years Expansion Pack - $10 Off
The Sims 4 doesn't have a high school for teens to go to, unlike the adults who can go to college, thanks to the Discover University Expansion Pack.
With the High School Years Expansion Pack, however, players can take their teen sims to Copperdale High, which Maxis describes as "the center of your teen Sim's world."
From here, teen sims can get the full high school experience: from locker stinkbombs and extracurricular activities to proms and even a graduation ceremony.
Teen sims can even skip classes and explore their own likes and dislikes.
The Sims 4: High School Years Expansion Pack retails for $29.99 at the Xbox Store for the entire Thanksgiving week.
