Five Nights At Freddy's Teaser Trailer Details

It's been almost a decade since Scott Cawthorn first released the first FnaF video game for the public to play. Since then, its simplistic gameplay and horrifying consequences has haunted generations of children and adolescents.

After a long wait (and more than a few sequel games to boot), Blumhouse has finally released the first teaser trailer for the movie adaptation of the hit horror game, giving the world a sneak peek of the horror when it's nighttime at Freddy Fasbear's Pizza.

The teaser trailer opens with what seems to be a birthday party from the late 1980s and the first appearance of three of the infamous Freddy Fazbear's Pizza animatronics: Chica the Chicken, Bonnie the Bunny, and Freddy Fazbear himself.

The trailer then shows an abandoned Freddy Fazbear's Pizza and its new security guard, Mike (played by Josh Hutcherson), taking what appears to be his first night shift guarding the now broken down pizzeria's premises. Unfortunately, not everything is as it seems, and Mike's otherwise peaceful night has taken a dark turn for the worse, as players of the first FnaF game found out.

The trailer then gives audiences a sneak peek of Foxy the Pirate's shadow, though it isn't enough to give what the animatronic looks like on screen. Based on how faithful the previous three's appearance is, however, it is probable that Foxy's appearance will be the same as its in-game counterpart.

We then see an animatronic about to carve out some new holes on Mike and a group of children running away from Mike, who could possiby be the missing children reported in the past.

Lastly, we see a child hide herself in a ballpit to no avail, as the animatronics inside the pizzeria(now with red eyes) finding her.

Five Nights At Freddy's Movie Details

The "Five Nights at Freddy's" movie is one being planned for a big screen adaptation since 2015, but several delays and roadblocks putting the movie's progress back to the start, preventing it from being produced in a timely manner, per Cawthorn's Steam post in Feb. 2017.

Thankfully, the movie found its way to Universal despite the production's personnel changes and script issues.

Regardless, the "Fice Nights at Freddy's" movie is set for release on Oct. 27; whether it would be a hit like Illumination's "The Super Mario Bros. Movie" is still unclear, but the series' fans, which spans generations of gamers, are eagerly waiting to its release since 2015, per Comicbook Gaming.
