Nintendo is powering up its "The Super Maro Bros. Movie."
The popular Japan-based video game developer recently announced it is making a Power Up Edition of "The Super Mario Bros. Movie" available for pre-purchase at its My Nintendo Store for fans to experience the movie at home.
it is unknown when the Power Up Edition will be available for the public to purchase.
The Super Mario Bros. Movie Power Up Edition Details
Nintendo mentioned in its announcement that the Power Up Edition comes with the original movie, along with a few special features fans of the Mario franchise would appreciate.
The special features include the popular Jack Black "Peaches" lyric video and leadership lessons from Anya Taylor-Joy, who voiced Princess Peach in the movie. This special feature will feature custom graphics and movie clips to showcase Princess Peach's guide to being an awesome leader, along with some real-life tips and power-ups that kids of all ages can use in their lives, per Collider.
The Power Up Edition will also come with a "Getting to Know the Cast" special feature that showcases the people who lent their voices to the movie's characters (and maybe their experiences with the franchise in the past) and "Leveling Up: Making The Super Mario Bros. Movie," which focuses on how Illumination and Nintendo cooperated to create the movie.

Finally, the Power Up Edition comes with a special feature called "The Super Mario Bros. Movie Field Guide," which has the movie's cast take audiences through the various Power-Ups and Bonuses that appears in the movie. It also allows the cast to interact with custom on-screen graphics as audiences select a Bonus or Power Up specific to their character and explain what it does, its effects, and how they use it, per Syfy.
"The Super Mario Bros. Movie's" Power Up Edition is available for pre-purchase at the official My Nintendo Store for $39.98. It will come in the form of a physical Blu-Ray DVD and a digital code that allows customers to download the Power Up Edition to their devices.

Produced by Illumination, "The Super Mario Bros. Movie' is based on the much-loved video game franchise Mario. The film stars Chris Pratt as the titular character - a decision that was met with much criticism when it was first announced.
The movie follows the story of the iconic plumber brothers Mario and Luigi, played by Charlie Day, as they turn from failing plumbers from Brooklyn to heroes of the Mushroom Kingdom as they face down Bowser alongside Princess Peach.
The movie is the first movie adaptation following the live-action "Super Maro Bros." in 1993, which saw Mario and Luigi find themselves in a dystopic parallel universe that is as far from its source material as a chicken is to a T.rex.
While Charles Martinet, the original voice actor for Mario in Nintendo's game franchise, didn't play any significant role in the movie, he is in it in undisclosed cameos. Which of them will be his is for you to find out, though.
