Twitch Streamer's Viewer Sets Her Car on Fire

Every now and then, famous streamers get fans who are more invested in their content and lives than others. However, such admiration can turn to obsession, which sometimes results in dangerous situations, such as what happened to Twitch streamer, justfoxxi.

A Fiery Incident

Kylee Carter, more known by her tag as "justfoxxi," is a popular streamer on Twitch with over 600,000 followers. She usually plays first-person shooter games like Fortnite and, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive during her streams.

She has been described as a personable and overall likable person, which is why people enjoy watching her streams. Unfortunately, one viewer, in particular, may not have been too fond of the content creator as he set her car on fire in the middle of the night.

The man, whose identity was not revealed by the steamer, was said to have driven 700 miles just to set the vehicle ablaze. Justfoxxi recorded the event while it was happening on her home camera since she was away at the time of the incident.

The video shows the perpetrator placing something on the hood of her car, lighting it, and eventually causing almost the entire front of the car to be burned off. The man just walked away from the scene as soon as he did what he set out to do.

As Carter recounted the events of the night, she mentioned that her mother was home at the time of the incident. She called justfoxxi in tears informing her of what had happened, and then told her that the police were there, as mentioned in Kotaku.

In the aftermath of the incident, the car was no longer usable. Luckily, the camera caught the face of the deranged man in 4K. This led to him being arrested, but the damage has already been done as well as the mental and emotional toll it took on the streamer and her mother.

The torching of her car was just another reason for her to be more vigilant with stalkers, especially since she had already encountered such matters before, but not to the extent of having her car set on fire at two in the morning.

Other Streamers Have Also Been Targeted

Many Twitch streamers have also been through harrowing situations because of their viewers. In another incident, streamer Joshua Peters, also known as Koopatroopa787 was raided by a Swat team in the middle of a livestream because of a viewer who arranged it.

An anonymous person called the St Cloud Police Department in Minnesota claiming that someone shot their roommate and was being held at gunpoint. The person then gave Peters' address as their own so it would be raided by authorities, according to The Guardian.

Even as the Koopatroopa787 was swatted, the stream was still live, so his viewers were basically there when everything went down. Before the stream ended, the streamer said that a gun was pointed at his little brothers, also saying that the attacker should not have involved his family.
