LG Nexus 10 image, specs, and release date leak

Google is rumored to officially announce the new Nexus 10 very soon and now an image and specs of the reported tablet have hit the web.

Apple and Google have had a similar mobile device lineup. Both offer two different size tablets and a flagship smartphone, unlike Samsung who releases flagship smartphones and tablets in various sizes.

Google most recently updated the Nexus 7 in July and has continued to keep the current Nexus 10 on sale. Recent rumors began to circulate claiming that a Nexus 10 refresh is imminent, but there won't be any special event to announce its arrival and. The tablet will reportedly make its debut on Nov. 22, then immediately go on sale through the Google Play Store.

A new report claims to reveal the specs of the updated tablet, along with an image that shows that Samsung is no longer the manufacturer of this year's Nexus 10. Google chose LG to build last year's Nexus 4 and this year's Nexus 5, and the company reportedly partnered with LG again to build the new Nexus 10 as well.

The specs of the Nexus 10 were posted on retailer Tesco's online store, but have since been removed.

The Nexus 10 will reportedly feature a very high-resolution 10-inch 2560 x 1600 IPS display and ship with Android 4.4 KitKat. The tablet will be quite the powerhouse, packing a powerful 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 Pro processor and a generous 3GB of RAM to provide a snappy and fluid experience.

Tesco only listed one model, a 16GB Nexus 10. Google is expected to offer a 32GB version as well, along with Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi + LTE versions of the tablet. It was listed as having 18 hours of battery life (battery size wasn't posted). The new Nexus 10 will reportedly measure 200 x 114 x 8.9 mm and weigh 420g.

Pocket-lint posted an image of the rumored Nexus 10, which shows an LG watermark and internal name of the tablet, LG-V510. If this proves to be accurate, the new Nexus 10 will be LG-made.

Take these specs with a grain of salt, however, as nothing is certain until we hear the official word from Google. We'll be sure to stay on top of this and bring you the latest Nexus 10 information.
