Marvel has become an entertainment giant in both the film, TV show, and comics industries (which you can all watch on Disney+). The company's movies alone have already created a huge fanbase, and many would debate over who the strongest characters are. Here are some of the potential candidates.
1. The Hulk
Seriously, no need to even think about it. Hulk is not only strong but also very destructive when he gets in a bad mood. In the comics, Hulk is able to crack a planet in two, which means that his strength is a little downplayed in the movies.
Still, he's powerful enough to be on the list. Remember that scene where he said his secret was that he was always angry? He singlehandedly stopped a Chitauri Leviathan with his fist, and he was not even that angry. Imagine what he can do enraged.
2. Dr. Strange
He might not have the strength of the Hulk, but he has sorcerer abilities that he can use to defeat his enemies, not to mention that he's also smart even as a normal person. He also has the highest rank of all the sorcerers as the Sorcerer Supreme (before Wong replaced him).
As mentioned in Collider, He had the ability to levitate, teleport, travel time, perform astral projection, travel dimension, and basically conjure any weapon out of thin air. In the comics, he beat Galactus, and that's no easy feat.
3. Thor
This one's obvious considering that Thor is an actual Norse god. Like Hulk, his powers were downplayed in the movies, but comics Thor was a more formidable opponent. In fact, he can even break adamantium, which means Wolverine's claws got nothing on him.
Even without his weapons like Stormbreaker and Mjolnir, he's able to summon lightning, which was shown when he fought Hulk in "Thor: Ragnarok." He also beat Hulk in the fight, technically, so that's another point for the God of Thunder.
4. Captain Marvel
Despite all the hate that the character has been getting from the fanbase, it's undeniable that Captain Marvel was a game-changer in the "Endgame" battle. Aside from her incredible strength, she basically unbreakable. There's also the part where she can put you down with a single strike of her photon beams and the fact that she was completely unaffected after being headbutted by Thanos.

5. Scarlet Witch
Even in the "Avengers" movie series, her powers were already impressive. She could overpower characters like Vision when she wanted to leave the apartment and he was in her way, and Thanos when she incapacitated him in the middle of battle.
However, we saw what she was really capable of in "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness," as pointed out by Digital Trends. She defeated all the members of the Illuminati, wherein she didn't even move when she killed Black Bolt.
6. Thanos
We can't forget Thanos here, especially since we've seen the struggle all the heroes had to go through just to defeat the purple alien. Even without the Infinity Stones, he was already powerful enough to get the reputation that he has. It took everything the Avengers had and more to finally put him down. He was also powerful enough to bare the snap using all the stones without ending up like the Hulk or Iron Man (RIP).
7. Hela
You know that someone is powerful enough when they easily destroy Mjolnir, she sees the Tesseract and goes "meh" and moves on. Thor even had to let Ragnarok happen by summoning Surtr to beat her at the price of Asgard itself. Let's not forget that her battle experience came from a time when Odin was a blood-thirsty god.
