Instagram Subscriptions

Instagram subscriptions allow eligible creators to monetize their content, as well as offer exclusive content and benefits for their followers at a monthly fee.

Creators can create exclusive content and offer these benefits with lives, stories, badges, posts, reels, social channels, and broadcast channels.

The feature was initially launched in the United States last year which paved the way for creators to "deepen connections with their most engaged followers while unlocking recurring monthly income."

Instagram Subscriptions Creator Eligibility

The subscriptions will available for creators who are at least 18 years old and have more than 10,000 followers.

Creators have the freedom to set their monthly price from $0.99 to $99.99 per month, depending on how they see their content as fit.

Meta first launched subscriptions for Facebook in 2020 before officially launching it on Instagram.
