Just when we're losing hope about the Zuck vs Musk fight ever happening, the Tesla CEO decided that he wanted to visit Zuckerberg in his own house and fight there. It looks like the 39-year-old tech billionaire hit a nerve and finally got a response.
Musk Drives to Palo Alto
Elon Musk recently posted on X announcing that Tesla is doing a test drive for its Full Self-Driving (FSD) feature in Palo Alto. Since Mark Zuckerberg lives in the area, Musk expressed his intentions to stop by, and it's not to appreciate his interior decor.
He stated that he will "ask the car to drive to drive to @finkd's house" and if the Meta CEO answers the door, they will fight then and there. It's likely that he took offense at Zuckerberg's latest statement regarding the fight between them.
Due to Musk's lack of response and failure to confirm a due date, Zuckerberg says that it's time to "move on" and that he doesn't see the fight happening. Prior to his post on Threads, Musk apparently proposed that they do a practice round in his backyard.
Zuckerberg did not agree then, and he's not about to do that now even when Musk does show up. Meta spokesperson Iska Saric says that "Mark is traveling right now and isn't in Palo Alto," as reported by The Verge, so a house call is not likely to happen.
Saric added that Zuckerberg takes the sport seriously and will not fight someone who randomly shows up at his home. The Meta CEO said himself that he was going to focus on competing with people who took the sport seriously.
It was out of character for Musk to stay silent as Zuckerberg speaks out about him not wanting to fight after all. Musk came through and showed the impulsive side of him we've all gotten used to and proposed to show up in his opponent's house as a response.
It's not looking good for Musk in more ways than one. Firstly, it just shows that he might be doing this fight to stroke his ego. Second, it proves that he's healthy enough to fight even after implying that he had a health problem that may have required surgery.

Will the Cage Match Finally Happen?
At this point, we can never really know for sure until both are in the ring. Zuckerberg is already a sure thing when it comes to the fight. He's proven time and time again that he was ready to fight the X owner and all he needed was a date.
Musk has always been the wild card in this scenario. It all depends on whether he wants to honor the fight by confirming a date and showing up at the venue or keep provoking Zuckerberg by showing up at his house and throwing shots at him through X.
Everyone else has also made the effort to make sure that the fight happens. MMA and other fighting professionals have been training with both, and UFC President Dana White is even willing to arrange matters for them in terms of venue and public viewing.
