New Valve Hardware Device Gets Certification

Valve is probably on its way to surprise fans with a new device. In a leaked designation screenshot posted by Brad Lynch on X, the description stated that it is a "low power wireless device". Moreover, it also revealed that uses a 5Ghz Wi-Fi, which is a pretty common thing these days.

Fans are intrigued and even listed the previous model name of some of Valve's devices. For instance, the Valve Index was model 1007 while the Steam Deck was model 1010. On the other hand, the mysterious device has the model name 1030.

Some are taking a guess on Valve's next move. Phoronix's report showed that the company added new changes on the Steam Deck's Van Gogh GPU. Meanwhile, The Verge disclosed that Valve's Greg Coomer is leaning on a standalone VR headset, as stated in 2021.

Valve's Steam Deck Remains Popular

In 2022, Valve released its own game console called Steam Deck. The device became a must-have item for gamers especially for those who own big collections of games. Valve's Steam sync also made it more catchy for these gamers.

While there are no other hints and even confirmation from Valve yet, one thing is sure, something is cooking in the company. Whether its a standalone VR headset or new Steam Controller, fans would have to wait for quite some time before it all gets released in the bag.
