Sega released the trailer for the Sonic Frontiers' Final Horizon DLC update which featured a new story and characters.

Sega Takes New Direction with Sonic Frontiers
In celebration for the 32nd anniversary of Sonic, The Final Horizon DLC update will mark a new direction as it takes new storyline. In addition, new playable characters will be available such as Amy, Tails, and Knuckles.
The new trailer revealed that Sonic has already tackled four of island during Knuckles's speech. On the other hand, Tail reminded that the more he interacted with the cyberspace, the more he gets corrupted. However, Sonic reassured the team to just follow him no matter how confusing the adventure is.
The final battle is set on the Ouranos Island, where new challenges awaits them. Sonic will be needing the assistance of Sage and Dr. Eggman as they challenge the Cyber Corruption. On the other hand, Amy, Knuckles, and Tail will embark on a journey to search for the Chaos Emeralds.
Sonic Frontier: The Final Horizon Update Release
The upcoming DLC update will be released on September 28. With few days left to wait, fans are waiting to see if the underwhelming final boss fight was fixed by Sega. The revision would not only fix the problem but might also change the ending.
In addition to the trailer, Sega teased the fans with an image full of hints. The image shows Knuckles with his brawling techniques, Amy with her hammer, and Tails with his machines.
Sonic Frontiers is now available for PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Switch.
