TikTok's Creativity Program Beta

TikTok initially launched the revamped creator fund last February and has been testing the feature to creators within the United States. The new program is designed to generate more profit to the creators. In addition, real-world opportunities await for them.

The program is opened to creators who are 18 years old and above with at least 10,000 followers. In addition, creators must have attained at least 100,000 views in the last 30 days.

TechCrunch reported that eligible creators can earn up to 20 times the previous offered amount by the Creator Fund if they post high-quality original content that are longer than one minute. This potential allows creators to gain more revenue through their content.

Is TikTok Scraping Creator Fund?

While the Creator Fund still exists for most, TikTok reminded the creators that those who are under the Creativity Program Beta will not be able to revert back to Creator Fund. As of now there is still no clarification if TikTok will scrap the Creator Fund in the long run.

As part of TikTok's suite of monetization tools, the Creativity Program is just one of the many ways that creators can earn money from the platform. Other means include LIVE subscriptions and TikTok Pulse. There are also tips and gift monetizations features. In addition, creators can also post content behind a paywall using the new Series tool.
