Motorola Moto X off-contract on all carriers now $150 off or 50% off on-contract

Motorola is bringing back its Cyber Monday discount that allows customers to purchase a Moto X off-contract on any carrier for $349, or get 50 percent off the on-contract price.

When Motorola announced that it would offer the Moto X for $150 off for its Cyber Monday sale, the company didn't anticipate that smartphone fans would flock to its online store in droves and bring down its site. To make up for the down time, Motorola later announced that it would give customers two more chances to score a Moto X on any carrier for $150 off. The company scheduled two dates to open up sales and on both days Motorola completely sold out of its stock of the smartphone in less than 10 minutes.

Motorola is really getting into the Christmas spirit and is once again offering the same deal, while also giving a 50 percent discount for the on-contract Moto X. This offer is for Today Show viewers. In order to get this deal you'll need to fill out a signup form and enter promo code "todayshow50" in the registration code box. Once you have your code you can head over to the Moto Maker site and design the Moto X of your dreams. You'll also be able to purchase accessories for your new smartphone at a 50 percent discount.

As a reminder, the Moto X features a 4.7-inch 1280 x 720 720p HD AMOLED display and runs Android 4.4 KitKat. The smartphone is powered by a 1.7GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor with Motorola's X8 Computing System on board and an Adreno 320 graphics processing unit (GPU). It includes 16GB or 32GB of internal storage and 2GB of RAM.

Motorola has also packed a 10-megapixel CLEAR PIXEL rear camera with autofocus and LED flash, with the ability to record 1080p HD video. You'll also find a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for video chat, which has the ability to capture 1080p video as well. The smartphone's wireless connectivity options include 4G LTE radio, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0 with LE and EDR. It has a 2,200 mAh non-removable battery that will get up to 13 hours of talk time and 10 days of standby time.
