Blizzard Hints Overwatch 2 Hero Changes for Season 7

Blizzard teased changes for Sombra, Roadhog, Illari, Zarya, and more for the release of Overwatch 2 Season 7 on October 10.

Overwatch 2 Nerfs and Buffs Some Heroes Ahead of Season 7 

Early this month, Blizzard announced that some characters will be nerfed and buffed for the latest update in the Season 6 of Overwatch 2. For instance, Zarya, Mei, and Junker Queen received an increased performance. On the other hand, Orisa, Bastion, and Baptiste were nerfed. 

Prior to the Season 7 update, Blizzard has three goals for Sombra's changes. First, they want to make Sombra more committal during fights. Second, Blizzard wants to highlight a more active feel within her kit. Lastly, is to enhance her ability to hack enemies and health packs. 

Roadhog, which will be released in the middle of Season 7, is also bound for some changes. Most of Roadhog's changes will center on increasing his ability to protect his team and claim more space. In addition, Illari, who just debuted in Overwatch 2, will also have a more potent secondary fire healing. Other heroes such as Zarya, Torbjorn, and Orisa will also experience some changes for Season 7.

While many gamers are still confused on the upcoming hero changes, Blizzard assured that they will release a more specific details about Sombra and Roadhog in the following weeks. 

The 7th season of Overwatch 2 will start on October 10. Overwatch 2 is available on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch.
