After years of early access in Steam, Undying, a heart-wrenching zombie survival game, is finally getting its full release on October 17.

What's Undying All About
Undying follows the story of a mother and son adventure as they try to survive through a zombie apocalypse. When Anling, the mom, gets infected by a zombie she knows she had to do everything to survive for her son Cody.
Players will take the role of Anling as she tries to provide a safety and secure place for Cody. Moreover, it is also the duty of the mom to teach her son valuable skills that he can use in case he gets attacked by zombies. This includes cooking, crafting, and combating.
The challenge her lies on trying to slow down Anling's transition into zombie while making sure that the mother and child duo will not starve. On other instances, Anling might also need the help of Cody's skills to survive.
Undying's Much Awaited Release
Undying has been under development for three years, with early access available on Steam. Game developer Vanimals clarified that it took them that much since they value community feedback above else.
"To finish the game and make sure we deliver the best product available, we really want to get the community engaged in helping craft Undying's world," Vanimals wrote.
Players who tried the early access version are still encourage to play the full release. Vanimals explained that while the early access was capped to 30 days, the full version of the game takes 60 days to beat.
